Vinification: After the late harvest that takes place in the last week of September and exclusively by hand, the bunches of grapes undergo a further drying in the cellar for about 4 weeks. After a soft pressing, the maceration and subsequent fermentation take place in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. This is followed by maturation in French oak barriques for 12 months and refinement in the bottle for 6 months. Argese Primitivo is a high-quality raisin wine produced by Tenute Girolamo in the Itria Valley. Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months, it offers a unique sensory experience.

Taste: Volume with consisting tannin, scents of great harmony among acidity, structure and length. Fruity, spicy and long lasting aftertaste with tasty notes. Food pairings: Savory and elaborate first dishes, red meat and aged cheese.
Best served at: 18°-20° C.
