Terre Carsiche 1939

A family tradition born in Castellana Grotte, southeast of Bari, and rooted in Puglia, but with a strong vocation for expansion both nationally and internationally. Immersed in the fertile countryside, characterized by a climate favorable for processing quality wines, the winery has been operating in the Murge territory, in an area of karst lands (terrecarsiche), since way back in 1939.

The gradual renewal over recent years, the provision of innovative facilities for controlling the grapes and refining the finished product, are just the first steps for a company preparing for the challenges of the future. Today, Terrecarsiche1939 produces wines with Typical Geographic Indication (IGT) and Controlled Designation of Origin (DOC) from Gioia del Colle and Valle D’Itria, with a presence also in the Castel del Monte area, primarily promoting the now-famous native grape varieties of Puglia.

    Cava Bianca wine comes from the wine-growing areas of the Itria Valley, at an altitude of 400–450 meters, thanks to the cultivation and harvest of Bianco d’Alessano, Fiano, and Chardonnay grapes.
    The distinctive feature of this Apulian IGT wine is its velvety flavor and spicy aroma, the result of aging in French oak barriques for approximately 8 months.

    Passaturi is a white wine from the Itria Valley, made from Minutolo grapes.
    This IGT wine has a straw-yellow color with golden reflections, an aromatic flavor, and an intense, fruity aroma.

    It is recommended to serve this IGT white wine chilled, between 6°C and 8°C.
